Premiere 6.5 Compression

I was wanting to know what compression method will give the best quality, if that's the right word. I'm talking about all the video options listed on the start-up screen. I'm having a hard time finding which one to use since most footage I pass through the program always suffers a huge quality loss. Thanks for any help.

I've always used the 32KHz stereo NTSC. It's never let me down. If you're in Europe or something, then use Pal.

Edit: I just tried it and the quality is good but there's random lines on objects, kinda distorts them. Like when there's movement in the clip that's where the most lines appear.

you gotta de interlace. Use the help menu to find info on that.

deinterlacing sucks on premiere. or then I just haven't found the right place to deinterlace every clip in the project automatically...

Thanks guys, it worked nicely. You can also click remove flickering which also works.
