I am looking for a new EXTERNAL hard drive with atleast 120GB space. I am not too sure on where is the best place or what is the best hard drive so thought some Techies could help me out. Looking to spend no more than 100 quid and preferably a British site.

In finland you can get 200gig with 100euros (80pounds?). So money shouldnt be a problem. And people say that seagate is good. But you should check if your motherboard cant use bigger than 120gig hd:s.

If you have a firewire card on your PC and your laptop then it'll work.

The best thing would be to do is what I did and buy a huge internal drive (I bought 200gb) and buy an external case which converts it over to external. The cases cost like 25 bucks.
