please help me I have a pretty stupid problem I have a wd 250 gb's external drive and when I try to move a video file that is 8 gb it gives me an error -> disk cleanup or something like that and it cant move the file
in short term whenever I try to move a large file (4 gbs+) it gives me an error
what can I do?

I also have a problem with my external hard drive, it doesn't show up on my computer anymore Image file not present in the recovered backup I think this is because I left it on for half a week.. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it? Thx.

if I remember correctly and your hard drive is formatted FAT32 then it wont accept files larger than 4GB. its a shitty file system. try converting it to NTFS and that should fix your problem

can someone explain about FAT32 and NTFS? as my master is fat my slave is ntfs and im not sure my external but I read a review on an external and they said they had to convert it to fat before using it....WHY?
