I cant seem to find a way of getting a decent screen saved from vegas, in pinnacle they save just as if you saw the avi file on pause. let me know, its really bugging me.

It's the floppy disc looking icon above the preview window. It doesn't save them very large though

I know how to save, I just want to know how to save them in avi quality prints. they look terrible and with a program like vegas I doubt thats there only method/way of producting a screen shot.

I worked with vegas for quite 3 years now and never found a decent way marc
I always screen capture my footage with a video player named bsplayer (bsplayer.org)
its free and does a very good job

Dude, make sure the preview thing is set to best quality.
