My camera (Sony DCR-HC39E) allows Memory Stick Pro Duo chips to be used to capture pictures and stuff, does anyone know how I actually get the images off the chip when the camera is connected?
Cheers if anyone can help.

there should be a switch on the cam....video and memory? Or some shit, on mine I think you just put it to memmory and when you plug the cam in the software tht came with the cam makes it pretty much self explanitory.
If not sorry.

You have to plug it in via USB cable, then go to my computer, and go to your camera (it will say something like G: Removable drive). In that there will be a folder, go that, then the next folder, then voila, your pictures are there.

Still not working with either of those methods. When the chip goes in does the red light on the side stay on? Or just flash once?

Hmm.. I don't have that camera anymore so I can't tell you, but I'm pretty sure if my method doesn't work then your camera is fucked.
