Movie Maker Problems..

for some reason movie maker on my computer wont capture audio, the only way it wants to capture audio is through my microphone (which sounds like shit) any ideas ? here are some pics to see my problems. I have some old footage that I wanna get from my JVC GR-SXM260

a svideo connection is only audio you will need another cable running from your camera into your soundcard

this guy means svideo is only for VIDEO.

You need some kind of audio cable going from your cam to the line-in port on your soundcard
