ok I got a new pc
I put windows on it like normal and I put my 300gb in it and it shows up but says it needs to format so I put it back in exrental hdd case it works and none of my other hdds work in it either?

probably because they are set to slave and you need to change them to master.

the main one for windows must be set to master. and the other one with videos and music must be set to slave.

ok done it still dosent work ill just take it to a friends later to fix

you might have to go into the bios and select which one you would like it to boot form also. usually press delete to enter setup.
