Free Updates For Pinnacle Studio?

Anyone know where to get em? I spent an arm and a leg on the software, and it doesn't even include slow mo, light adjustion, zoom... What the hell? I went to their site to check out some updates, coz generally updates are for free, but nooooo... Not for pinnacle. So anyone know a way around this so I can gain the features I need? It sucks, coz pinnacle is generally regarded as a decent editing program, so I can't comprehend why they'd charge for updates. Oh yeah, that's right...

I found some stuff on torrent for pinnacle, not sure if any of it would be of use, depends which version we're using I think.
