Most controversially, the footage depicts the group assaulting and humiliating a 17-year-old girl, who has a condition described by The Age as a "mild development delay".[2] Several of the boys were filmed urinating on the girl, setting her hair on fire, forcing her to participate in sexual activity, and also throwing items of her clothing into the Werribee River, where the incident took place. During this time, one boy approaches the camera and states, "What the fuck, she's the ugliest thing I've even seen."

That's some fucked up shit, I don't think I could watch it. Those kids deserve getting their asses kicked more than those kids that set that turtle on fire in Minnesota or the bum outside Weak's apartment.

Johnny Knoxville, the principal star of the Jackass series, denied suggestions that the series may have inspired the DVD, saying: "We're not mean spirited, we're not evil...Shoot those little bastards."

Nowhere does Jackass piss on people not involved in their group or light an innocent person's hair on fire. People blaming Jackass have something wrong with them.

I dont think they have something wrong with them its the concept, jackass has opened peoples eyes up that you can film really stupid stuff, kids are impressionable and stupid so they go to far. so there not directly saying jackass is making people do it but that it has spawned this new generation of shock videos.
so I can understand why they constantly mention them everytime some lil prick films himself doing something stupid

Yeah, that's true, it just sucks that they were the "first" to get big enough to have world-wide attention. They're everyone's scapegoat.

I haven't seen any of the werribee footage beides what was shown on tv, but... A chick we know in Sunshine apparently knows 2 or 3 of em, so we're gonna get em to come to our place and annihilate them on film... Fucking turds like that give us decent hardworking stuntbums bad names, lol.

and the fuckers not only get more publicity than deserving groups, they also get a wikipedia page with quotes from fucking KNOXVILLE!! Yeah, sure, give em the publicity they obviously craze, that'll deter them from making more fucked up flicks.
