I have some Divx/Xvid files on my computer and I was wondering if you guys could recommend a program so I could burn them to a DVD.

This thing is screwed up! Whenever I go to convert the file, an error comes up from Windows and stops the conversion. What gives?

Actually, I've had that error a few times but it was because of codecs, not when converting to DVD though.
Try the full version before I suggest anything??
It's only small, I doubt it's a codec problem or anything, as your converting to .vob.... codecs can be a bitch.

this is also a good video converter. as far as I know it converts any video file that you have into any other video file that you want.

I tried WinAVI and it finally converted the files, but when I go to burn the DVD, it says there is an error with the files and the disk may be unplayable... which it was. What the hell? Whose dick do I have to suck to burn a working DVD around here?

Did it create the audio_ts and video_ts subfolders... you only need to use the stuff in the video_ts though, right?
I dunno, I suggest just converting a small file to DVD, then seeing if that can burn as a test.
Also try going to advanced, before you convert, theres some options you can change, as well as adding chapters.
What are you trying to burn it with? Nero?

Yup, Nero is what I'm burning it with, and I'm only using the Video_TS folders.
