canon released a highdef cam, I guess to compete with sony.

yeah it looks good for low budget editting or something like that.Whats the price on this cam?

Yeah, I've heard of this cam. I don't know how you can say it's shitty. Somewhere I read said that the picture quality is better on this cam than an FX1. Of course 3CCD is better in low light, but the images still look impressive to me.

I don't see this being that bad. It's good for it's size but yeah the price is kinda big.
