Help With Cam Please

When I record, then go into Player to play stuff back, it doesnt playback.

Have I accidently messed up a setting on the cam? How do I fix this?

What camera do you have?

Canon MV730I...kinda old..only a year or two.

I've just had a quick look online for some support info and couldn't even find a pdf manual to refer to.

Have a look around the camera for a reset to factory defaults button, if you don't know what setting you have changed.

The one on my camera is like a pin sized hole and I use my stylus from my pda to push it in, with the camera switched on, if it fucks up for no apparent reason.

Do you get any sound and no picture, or does it just not do anything?

The factory defaults might even be an option from the control menu somewhere.
