Didnt really entertain me, watched it to end though.

Editing didnt have anything great to it, and it dragged a lot. Specially the stillpart in skatehall. I personally think promo editing is nice when its fast.

Skating was decent, that on long manual was cool, and last comment was funny.

Why the picture quality is allways so bad in your clips? Analog camera?

We began with analogue, so I kinda had to stick with it.

I save it low quality for the net anyway man....full quality is a lot better of course.

Cheers for the comments.

I felt the intro dragged on way to long, and it should of been around 20-30 of slow mo key points in the footage. you had to much aftermath from stake tricks and you only needed to see footage of the tricks not the run up and rollin away ect, then when it did pick up it ended far to quickly, if you have a dvd you must have alot of footage you could of used to hype the dvd its self. but I know your not hardcore and your not totaly shit so I was waiting for you to say what your like and it was funny External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/Copy of dirol.gif but yeah, if you have time, do how I said to edit it and im sure alot more people will like your promo and want your dvd

ill just run it down if you want to redo it,

30sec MAX of slo-mo tricks, stunts, randomh things...not need to drag the clips on. just do this and you should get around 10 clips in. do this in black n white and when the music hits, change to colour (like you did) but have a clip of a stunt or skate bail going in slo-mo and have it mid stunt then normal pase for the stunt or crash. then play alot more clips faster, mid stunts and footage at there key points or buildin upto the key points then cut to the next clip.

hope that helps, and if anyone here whos good at editing reads my idea im sure they will see it worth doing...I hope. if not then say.

key points...basicly the point where the stunt looks best (at the point for good screen shots)

peace

The Skating wasn't the best out of what I've seen from you I'm sure. The first part of the ad was pretty boring, I agree wiv every one else that people want to see fast clips in a promo, as you did in the second part of the advert, which was much better, liked that part and I liked the touch at the end where you said we're pretty average, but when you're advertising a dvd, that didn't really make me want to buy it by saying that, but just my opinion. I thought the music fit with it well. made it seem all calm. everyone else has said what needs to be said. but.. that manual was crazy I can't stay up for 2 seconds and I kno that might sound like a personal problem.

O yeah I forgot to mention that, manual was amasing, thought he was gonna keep on going forever! External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/Copy of diablo.gif

It's funny cause, that guy (Mat) never really skates anymore. That was the first time he'd skated in like 6 months. And he does that. Sick.
