How do I center a layer in photoshop. I cant click the vertical/horizonatal alignment buttons at the top.

Select All (Ctrl A) then click the buttons.

Hmmm... Well another way is just push/hold the arrow keys.

Select All (Ctrl + A)
Layer -> Align Layers to Selection -> Vertical Centers
Layer -> Align Layers to Selection -> Horiztonal Centers
Layer -> Align Layers to Selection -> Vertical Centers
Layer -> Align Layers to Selection -> Horiztonal Centers
