Synopsis: A telephone comes to life and wreaks havok on a small community, 3 men (Mr. Exuberance, Mr. Safety, Mr. Knubs) and 3 Jehovah's witnesses. An all out battle to the death ensues.

Kind of a campy comedy/action/horror flick about 3 average kids, some Jehovah witnesses who happen to stop at the wrong house on the wrong day, and a killer telephone that puts an odd twist on the story.

This was written by Owen Young (Mr. Slick), and is really D2F's most professional film. More or less personal sense of humor, but I think most people liked it.

lmaoo right on man. I enjoyed that. editing was well done some of the comedy was a little slow but overall pretty funny. I watched the whole thing so thats good haha. didn't fast forward once. good job. best parts when hes like stop being such a fuckin pussy haha. loved it.

I remember when I first watched this a couple years ago and thought it was soo funny.

That's what the synopsis would indicate, yes.

The "short film" and "flick" descriptions could also have been good indicators.

So yes, you are correct in your assertion that this is "like an acted skit" - but this is more of an acted out short film. Like a movie, only shorter. This is undoubtedly our best homegrown work. No stunts.

Got 2 minutes into it and totally lost patience with it. Sorry.

anyway I checked it for a bit.. skipped throught it and it was quite interesting but I dunno didnt really feel like watching it all.. maybe cause its 3 in the morning.

None of our stunts are.

We have a small collection of scripted skits. We also have a small collection of improvised skits.

Aaaah, only skits are planned. ok. Fair enough.

I guess when you were driving along that day you did the gay squirrel you just happend to have a helmet and white sheet in the car when you pulled over by chance. And when you did ring of fire you just by coincedence had a ring in your car big enough to jump out of and some fuel to light it up. Wow, you guys must have so much luck always having these props with you whenever you get the sudden urge to film.

You just gave the impression that all of your stuff was spur of the moment and nothing was ever planned. I guess I took that the wrong way though. My bad.

Despite the fact that this stunt didn't happen within a few seconds after the idea came to me - its not as if I planned it all that far ahead of time. Likewise with the ring of fire, we went swimming on a hot day - we had some gasoline with us (as usual), and as always I had rope in my trunk. We actually found the metallic loop where we were swimming, and decided to jump through it and light ourselves on fire. We had previously been at the park where you can see me doing "back flips" in the faceoff clip. We had the camera, because back at my house we decided to have a jalapeno eating, and lemon juice shot contest - and decided to go to the park because they have one of those spinning things there, and we were going to film me twirling until I hurled. After about 15 minutes on that thing, I decided back flips might be more promising. Thats why at the beginning of that clip, you can just barely make out Mr. Slick saying "it shoudn't take him long to puke off that" or something to that effect. Good try though.

I watched it. Was some alright stuff, but I always find it hard to stay interested in vids this long. me6's 48 and the Local-Felons vacation vids are probably the only 20+ minute videos that I've been able to watch all the way thru. I watched most of this video though and as I said, some alright stuff in there
