Dual Screen

my dad just got me another screen for my pc
I no I can use it for my video editing etc

but game wise, could I likehaveone view on one screen then another view ie 3rd person on the other screen

or better yet the 2nd screen shows whats behind me

any ideas or tips that I can do with 2 screens for anything (games or other) would be great

Depends on the game. I'm a flight simulator fan (mainly X-plane) and this simulator allows to use one screen exclusively for the panels and gauges and the other one as usual. Maybe MS Flightsimulator allows this too, I don't know.
But I think there aren't many games that make use of this option except you're using the monitors for surround gaming.

It's mainly for widescreen monitor use in games (I have one of these monitors), but they also added screenshots and reviews of at least one surround gaming setup with three monitors. The cool thing is you can find many screenshots of games in standard 3:4, and 5:4 image ratios and the widescreen 16:10 or the extreme panoramic three monitor setup that must be something like 3:12 ie. 1:4.
At least you should be able to get some help and useful tips from the forum members.

Dual screen is useful for Photoshopping. On one screen you have all the pallettes and the image on the other one. Other graphics apps like Cinema4D, 3DSMax etc. can use a second screen for the same purpose.
