I think what webby is trying to say is, the word townie has kind of moved on from the image of a person and more to a way of life,ect if a priest isnt wearing his collar hes still a preist because he has certain belives and behaves in a certain way, and even if this isnt true of all townies it surely is a very high percent, most like to portray the "im well hard attitude" and travel in groups usaly intimidating smaller groups of people who cross there path, the few townies I have spoken to because they are friends of friends or at the same party as me have infact been proud of the fact and boast about how many people they have attacked and how funny it is just to jump on some one who dosnt expect it, so im not saying all townies are like this but the ones that are out way the ones that arnt, and from your threats of violence and your use of the word gay in a derogative term leads me to belive you fit in with the crowd of typical townies.
