vegas 4 help

last night I was up till 2 editing episode 5 and vegas crashed but luckley it auto saved. after I finished I hit save but it didn't save as the file name that I saved it as orginaly it sved as the restored file.. now I can't find it on my comp does anybody know where it could have went?

Try searching for it:
Start>Search.

Then go to advanced options and find whatever that vegas saved file extension is..... search for it that way, if you know what I mean....

I work with Vegas.

Do this:

Open Vegas,
click "FILE",
Ok, now under "EXIT" you should see a few links to previous projects.. try a few of those.

If that doesn't work, try this:

Click "START" on windows XP (assuming you have XP),
now click "RUN",
and type in: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUCOMPUTERUSERNAME\Application Data\Sony\Vegas\4.0
Now the C is the drive that has the "MY DOCUMENTS" folder on my computer.. if your drive isn't a C drive, then replace the C in that address I gave you above with what ever your drive is lettered. Don't forget to take out "YOURCOMPUTERUSERNAME" and put your's in there.

Sounds kinda crazy, but try it and let me know if that works
