I just got a laptop and need to geta couple gigs of files to my laptop but don't wanna waste cd's whats the fastest way to get them on there?

I would say if they both have a network card/port, then network the two and and transfer them that way, should be able to get 100MB/ps that way.

get a external HD just to transfer your stuff baby, then return it and get a refund.

I was wondering the same thing I have a wireless router and share the internet with my main comp but I was wondering how to set up a network so I can share files and the printer as well, I tryed google ing but it didnt make sense to me
