Is your camera digital?
30 December 2004, 00:22 UTC#3
Run as less programs as you can whilst capturing. Don't have the internet on or anything like that. Otherwise it must be a fault in your camera or application
30 December 2004, 00:23 UTC#4
It is, I know him, its a digital hi8 I believe.
30 December 2004, 00:29 UTC#5
Maybe it's your software. Which software are you using?

Most probably.
Otherwise try a driver update, or get a head cleaner for your cam.

I'd say its the head on the camara, go to your local electronics store and ask them if they have any hi8 tape head cleaners, thats most likely the problem.
30 December 2004, 01:43 UTC#10
but if its the heads then it would be all messed up when I watch it on the lcd wouldnt it...becuase it looks like its brand new on the lcd..its just when I upload with my usb..

30 December 2004, 01:49 UTC#12

30 December 2004, 02:03 UTC#13

30 December 2004, 02:37 UTC#15

30 December 2004, 02:39 UTC#16
yeah thats what I was thinking about doing..but I need to get a firewire card for it too..and it all sums up to about 70 dollars.. all I have is 13

Daniel, you must use full words to gain respect from others. Listen to wilbur, he was once like you... Well not really, but we can pretend, right?
30 December 2004, 04:21 UTC#22
Haha, yeah John knows how to type and get some respect, but Daniel types like: yo wit de dog yo de stuffo.
Very uncool lol, he'll learn.

External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/Copy of sad.gif But I did Connect it to my tv and try the playback on that, and it worked fine...so it may be the USB cable.
30 December 2004, 05:30 UTC#26
Must be that or the software sucks too. Can you capture with movie maker fine?
30 December 2004, 05:38 UTC#27
yeah I used to be able to Capture with Movie Maker perfect, but now it it has really Poor Quality and its Colors are Messed up, I think it might be the Port in my Camera, Im getting a Firewire soon tho, Soo it should work better with That. Thanks for the Suggestions Guys
