So I got my dvd burner finnaly.

What is the best software for burning and/or ripping DVD's, creating menu's?

Is there software that lets you create menu's, like the chapters play short clips? Like when your trying to select a chapter I guess? If I'm not making sence I'll try to reword this.

Well, I've used three different programmes:

Pinnacle Instant CD + DVD.
Sony DVD Architect.
Nero.

And to be honest Pinnacle Instant CD + DVD was prolly the best, it offers menu creating, chapters, and all that other stuff, yet it's soo easy too do, but I would only recommend it if you have Pinnacle Studio.... I can't be bothered explaining why but if you have Studio, use this.
Overall it's great for simple stuff but it offers nothing too technical, and it's easy as hell too use, although you might find another programme better for you....

Nero and Architect are both good in different ways for me, Nero offers alot more ways too burn a DVD although they both offer the same when it comes too actually burning a DVD... chapters and menus and other stuff.

Basically, I'd go with DVD Architect if your gonna be burning your HG footage and if you just wanna burn movies onto a DVD then I'd go with Nero.

If you need any help with any of them, give me a shout. Image file not present in the recovered backup

I recommend them all though.

I love Nero 'cause it's user-friendly and takes about five minutes to burn a typical album. I can't speak for the others but I guess what Baz is trying to say is:

Pinnacle Instant - Most features, most "professional", good for creating DVDs
Nero - All-rounder, good accessible options, functional, easy
