I ordered there dvd, and got it today, and I just watched it. And basically I was really dissapointed by it. The editing is fine, I cant fault that but the actual stunts really werent great. Theres was nothing that made me think 'holy shit' and generally I found almost all the sections were the same:
Riding gts into bushes and jumps
riding scooters into bushes and jumps
riding trolleys into bushes and jumps
riding the 'x-facter' into bushes and jumps
etc.....
I was also dissaponted with the length of the dvd and the lack of good extras. The only extras was a 5 minute video, 4 minutes of which was a band playing a song live.
Anyway I know SPDST are a really good group, and all the new shit ive seen kicks ass, and for a first time dvd it wasnt terrible but I just thought I'd warn those of you thinking of buying it about it.
Anyway that could just be me criticising it because I was expecting it to be really good. Have any of you guys bought it? and if you have what did u think of it?
And have any of you guys been dissapointed with anyother dvd you have bought from any groups?

I've got to say for a first DVD of a group it's impressive. Also I know it doesn't even compare to what's coming out on our new DVD, but it's a fine start. When it's all said and done it's impressive to see something like that come out of our little town of Thunder Bay, Canada.

It's definately worth a look and there are some really good laughs. I wouldn't this the stunts, but yes I do agree that there is some repeditiveness (if that's even a word... I appologize to all you grammar and spelling freaks :P).

Definately, its a damn good for a first dvd, and there obviously are some really good moments in it. I only started this thread because after seeing your new vids and thinking damn spdst are one of the best groups around, I was slightly dissapointed that the dvd, cos it didnt live up to my expectations. Tho a good dvd to have and t is worth buying.
So when is your new one coming out? and what company did you use to get the dvds made?
