Video from digicamera causes trouble on Premiere..

Back when our group started we filmed a lot with digicameras until we noticed it wasn't worthwile because Premiere didn't really read them correctly. They were always laggy and Premiere always said the lenght of the clip wrong or wouldn't show all of the clip.

Windows Movie player also has problems reading these clips. Well it will show the clip but the seeker will go to the end of the timeline way too early eventhough the video is still playing..

If you don't what I mean, here's one of our old videos that I made of digicamera clips on Premiere.

I thought it might have depended on different framerates, but after checking the rates, they were the same (25.00fps)

The cameras we used were rather old Sony DSC-P72 cams. If anyone knows anything about this problem please help me! Thanks

ive had that camera for almost 4yrs now :) great cam!11one!

but yeah its shit now and cause problems.. so please help us! thanks!
