Best free Anti-Virus Software?

Over the last couple of days my PC has really been fucking me off. It'll restart itself, or just siimply freeze. I have no idea why.

So if you have any idea what this is, or you can recommend the best free Anti-Virus software I can use, I'd be grateful.

I use AVG. It seems to work alright.

I've always used Norton Anti Virus, It's worked fine for me, before I had it I had formatted my computer about 10 times.

Also, spysweeper is great too, for spyware..

Also I think if your computer keeps restarting it's like some windows error, you can get a patch for it somewhere.

Yup AGV is the best0rz.

If its Spyware, get the Microsoft Anti-Spyware beta, it worked really well for me.

we had some computer guy come to fix our internet, and while he was here he put this on everything.

Spy Bot

but I also use ad-aware.

AVG has been ace for me and for spyware get a programme called ad-aware, completely clears your comp of it all, it's really good mate.

AVG is pretty good, and Ad-Aware is great aswell especially for spyware and crap like that.
