I won't go past 10 bucks, is he that mad about the DVD being available online here? Does he realize his other productions are available online for free also? That's the nature of the modern world man, you make something that can be formatted to your computer and it'll be shared online, that's to be expected. I wouldn't be mad about it, it's a good thing if anything.
I dont see the reason for people to rip and upload the dvd at all, especially here on a board where I'm literally giving away a free copy to you if you post a few plugs. if people are so stubborn not to do something to simple to get a free dvd, I have every right to be stubborn about people ripping it and stealing it. and even if nobody was stubborn about just earning a free dvd, I would be stubborn about the dvd being ripped because it took time and effort to make, money and I dealt with a lot bs at times to get it made so why would I want it online for free for the entire public?
+ why would the groups involved want this?
all that will do is hurt all the group's revenue and distribution opportunities.
