Because I can't get everything transferred to our new server without corruption, I have decided to simply use this database and upgrade to IPB 2.1.5. I'm unsure of the features of the upgrade, however things may look different and the board layout may slightly change for a week, while I sort it.

Estimated downtime: 2 hours either today or tomorrow.

Note; we are still on the old server now, so I'll perform the upgrade from the new server then if it's successfull move HGF over. Downtime is caused because if I don't close HGF whilst I do the upgrade, then some posts won't be transferred.

Thanks for your patience, I certainly don't have any left after working all day for fuck all.

Turns out the data wasn't entirely corrupt, it's the Apache configuration on the server. Trying to recompile without SuExec as I think that's causing the problem.

Didn't have the time to upgrade, thanks to SSH I managed to FTP over the backed up data again and unzip it directly into the file and restore the database server-side.

We're running on the new server now and it shall be IP-based until the DNS resolves. Fortunately I managed to recompile apache so the "Server misconfiguration" message doesn't show on every .php document.

All in all, not bad for nearly 7 fucking hours of work!
