vegas 6.0

I just finished to download vegas 6.0
and im bad haha
I take a video on my comput and try edited it,
but when I play it, I hear the sound but cannot see anything <


so... can you help me

What type of file are you trying to import? .wmv, .mpg etc.
Some DivX files do this too me sometimes, usually I have no sound and just the video.

Is it a .avi from a digital camera?
I cant remember where I read it, or if I did read it, Im just pretty sure you cant import them into Vegas for some reason, I cant explain it.

Try right clicking at the side of the timeline, choose "open new video track" try importing then, I doubt that will work, but its worth a try.


If non of those tips work, then I'd suggest converting to a .wmv or something, then try it.
Just use WMM to convert.
