What has your vote for the most frightening film ever made other than Dumbo.

I say Thirteen Ghosts got me scared, probably because of a range of things that occured during the time that I was watching this film.

is that bonus shit in texas chainsaw massacre real? I still need to see it.

I liked The Shining.. I mostly like old Horror Movies (the good ones!) cause the fact that the screen looks like shit gives it a better creepier feeling.

The Labyrinth.

A flamboyantly dressed David Bowie with puppets. . . Do I need to say any more?

QUOTE (kuffi @ Dec 5 2004, 01:28 AM) I liked The Shining..

All versions of The Shining I have seen are great. It has some very creepy scenes like when that kid is racing thru the hallways and suddenly those two little girls appear on one of the hallways (in the Kubrick version). That's probably the scariest scene in the whole movie.. But it's not even close to be one of the scariest movies I have seen.

Dude No Way, That Texas Chainsaw Massacre Bonus Footage Is A Load Of Bullshit, You Watch It And Thomas Hewitt Jumps Out With A Chainsaw And Supposedly Kills The Reporter And The Camera Man, But The Camera Is In Perfect Condition When It Falls, Plus Wouldnt He Of Destroyed It, Unless Someone Came Into His House And Asked For It Back, Or He Sat At His Little Lap Top Editing It, And Then When Its Finished Sending It In To The Film Producers......I Dont Think So ( That Would Be So Fucking Funny If He Did Though ) But Yeah....ITS FALSE External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/Copy of shok.gif

I don't know what the fuck happened with the quote you did, but you're right. me and steve were obbsessed with tcm and did a whole bunch of reserch. it was created after this guy named ed gein back in the 50s. he killed a bunch of women in his town and made a whole suit of their skin. with boobs and the vagina and a mask. gross as fuck External image not preserved — inspect source: http://homegrownforums.com/html/emoticons/bad.gif they made a movie based completly on that. tha's a pretty scary movie cause it's true.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Silence of the Lambs
Ed Gein: The Movie

All those are inspired by ed gein.

dawn of the dead was pretty cool to. not scary tho. I can't wait for the next one
