I met Daniel in the army, he was a short, peculiar looking fella and he was ever so often seen playing on his guitar. As we were assigned to the same platoon we allso shared the same quarters. I got to know Dani pretty well and learned that he had a band. I instantly liked his shit when I listend to some of his songs on his minidisc. Daniel was really devoted to his music... For instant: He once left the army without permission to play at Tavastia(famous finnish rock club) and got penalised for it and had to among other things stay 2days extra in the army.(which is a bitch, not fun to watch all the others go home before you)
It's been almost 10months since I left that godforsaken place behind, the army it is. I've seen Daniel a few times when we have met up with some old army buddies for some R&R. But only recently I got my hands on two mp3.s of Brandfilt, Daniels band. I've been trying to get a hold of their music for ages but no ones has their shit online. But now I'am offcourse thrilled and wont to share it with you guys!
This is a song that is called Rhino Rage, its my favorite. Its from a demo cd that was recorded in early 2004.
